The world-leading bioabsorbable stent

Since early 1990, we have started our development on the stent “Biodegradable stent ‘IGAKI-TAMAI STENT’” that is dissolved and absorbed into the body, and produced the world-leading bioabsorbable stent usable for clinical field.

Since the bioabsorbable stent is dissolved and absorbed into the body, its safety and effectiveness must be demonstrated. To provide the most safe and quality product, our bioabsorbable stent is manufactured at the facility certified by ISO 13485 which is the international standard for medical devices.

As a sales office for overseas, we have a subsidiary, Kyoto Medical Planning GmbH in Germany. Through the subsidiary, we gather information of clinical evaluations for better product development, as well as of feedback from the medical site constantly so as to obtain trust and satisfaction from patients and medical practitioners, and to be able to provide a better medical device.
